As a Cleaner at Sarasota Cleaning, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients’ spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for performing a range of cleaning duties in both residential and commercial settings. 

– Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
– Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
– Empty and clean trash containers.

– Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, including countertops, tables, and appliances.
– Clean and polish glass surfaces.

– Vacuum, steam clean, and mop floors as required.
– Perform carpet cleaning and spot treatment as necessary.

– Follow specific cleaning protocols for areas that require specialized treatment (e.g., medical facilities, laboratories).

– Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
– Report any shortages or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

– Use cleaning agents and chemicals following safety protocols.
– Maintain awareness of potential hazards and report any incidents or unsafe conditions.

– Communicate professionally with clients, addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns.

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in tasks.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if required.
• Excellent time management skills.

The payment for this position varies from $15.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on your experience. Moreover, other personal factors like the quality of your work and the speed at which you work as a professional cleaner will determine your personal progress. We follow a weekly pay schedule.

• Applicants must be able to do physical work such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping, kneeling, working overhead, and performing usual cleaning tasks.
• Applicants must be able to carry all cleaning caddies with cleaning agents, vacuums, and other equipment to and from our office, the company vehicle, and customers’ homes or commercial spaces.
• A minimum of English proficiency is required. Applicants must be able to understand written or spoken work directions and to conduct conversations on an average level.
